Planning your Visit

Sporting events, prolonged sun exposure, stressful life events, injuries or illness can prolong the tattoo healing process

If you’re interested in using numbing products let your artist know! But please don’t use them without consulting us first.

Sunburnt skin means no tattoos, so please take care to protect your skin from sun exposure leading up to your appointment.

Avoid submerging the tattoo in water such as bathtubs, hot tubs, and other swimming for 3-4 additional weeks, or until the skin is no longer peeling. Showering is fine!

We apply a breathable, waterproof bandage after your session that should be kept in place for 3-5 days.
To remove, slowly pull a corner up and away from the skin at a slight angle. Once removed, wash your tattoo once with mild unscented soap and water. Avoid any scented or exfoliating products for at least one week after removing the bandage.
During your visit

Please wear clothes you are comfortable in and that allow the artist comfortable access to your tattoo site.

Before you arrive

Lots of water, a full meal, and getting a good nights sleep before your appointment are the keys to an enjoyable tattoo experience!

Please do not use heavy exfoliating products on the site of your tattoo for 5 days prior to your appointment

Use a rich moisturizer daily leading up to and on the day of your appointment
After your visit

Last time we’ll say this :) But just another reminder of how crucial this is in taking care of your new work of art.

Sun damage is the number one factor in poorly aged tattoos. Please avoid sun exposure on your new tattoo completely for at least 2 weeks, after that apply spf 50+ when going outside even when covered with clothing or shade.

Apply a rich unscented moisturizer or aftercare ointment to your tattoo 2-3 times daily for 3-4 weeks.
